The Healing Power of Running

In early 2019 I had the pleasure of being a part of this production as the editor. The director, Peg Peters of Falling Frogs Productions produced this story about Wendy Enns and how running was a huge part of her resilience to the waves of life that washed over her. Wendy's mother passed away from breast cancer and shortly after, Wendy found out she had the same BCAR2 gene mutation, a gene which often accompanies the onset of breast cancer. Running gives Wendy the chance to find peace within these trying circumstances. Wendy is also a special education coordinator at ACS in Abbotsford and has found that using running with students has improved the attention, focus, and anxiety levels in may of her students.
